I've kept a livejournal for years now. I've used to keep others posted about my life, but mainly just to get attention from other people. I had a group of friends always looking at it, but I've found a good reason to really keep one: to make a condensed archive of my passions that I may be able to look back on. In the summer of 2007, I started posting a list of albums I was passionate about at that point in time, and determined to maintain this, and also to provide a download link for all the albums so that those interested might download them. I'm hoping to continue this, and perhaps more frequently. I hope also that I can attract more people to music they may not have heard before or didn't give a shot. This is for me, but I hope you can find something in it, too.
